ARCHES 88 is a versatile fine art paper prized by printmakers and mixed media artists for its exceptional surface quality and dimensional stability.
MADE ON A CYLINDER MOULD (TRADITIONAL PROCESS)
Quality close to that of paper made by craft methods. The slow turning of the cylinder enables the fibres to be deposited evenly and spread in all directions over the wire. The paper is homogeneous with excellent dimensional stability.
COMPOSITION
100% cotton, unsized (waterleaf), providing maximum absorbency and a soft, velvety surface. The natural white colour and smooth texture make it ideal for techniques requiring precise ink or paint absorption.
USES
Screen-printing, letterpress, gaufrage (embossing), blind embossing, gold foiling, and relief printing. Also suitable for digital printing and book arts. The 300gsm weight provides substantial body for printmaking and mixed media applications.
