Fila Group Australia is the Australian subsidiary of the Italian F.I.L.A. Group (Fabbrica Italiana Lapis ed Affini), one of the world's leading manufacturers and distributors of art materials, creative products, and educational supplies. Founded in Florence in 1920, the F.I.L.A. Group has spent over a century inspiring creativity across more than 150 countries, and we are proud to bring that same tradition of quality and innovation to the Australian market.
From our warehouse in Seven Hills, Sydney, we supply artists, educators, students, and retailers across Australia with a carefully curated portfolio of world-renowned brands — each a leader in its category.
Our Heritage
The F.I.L.A. story began in 1920 when the Fabbrica Italiana Lapis ed Affini was established in Florence, Italy, with a simple ambition: to craft the finest pencils and art materials in the world. Over the decades, the company grew from a local Italian manufacturer into a global creative powerhouse, expanding through strategic acquisitions of iconic brands across Europe, the United States, and Asia. Today, the F.I.L.A. Group operates 22 production facilities, employs over 3,200 people, and manages 25 iconic brands sold on five continents.
